Can members register themselves?
Yes. Members can claim their profile or be invited, and access a simplified member portal — while staff roles remain invitation-only.
Can I import from Excel?
Member import and duplicate handling are part of the roadmap; CSV import for members is supported today.
Does it work on mobile?
ChurchHub is a mobile-first web app you can install on Android, iPhone, Windows and macOS — one app, every device.
Can I print or export reports?
Yes — reports can be generated in the background and exported when ready.
Can I migrate from another system?
Migration assistance is included with Enterprise and available as an optional service on Pro, depending on the scope of your existing records.
Is my data secure?
Data is organisation-isolated, permission-controlled, audited, encrypted in transit and backed up regularly.
Is Starter really free?
Yes. Starter is a genuinely usable plan for one local church managing daily operations, not a demonstration account. Its limits are one branch, ten staff users and no paid messaging, advanced finance, custom roles or API.
Is there a limit on members?
No. Every plan includes unlimited members, visitors, attendance records and events. We do not charge you for growing.
What is the difference between Growth and Pro?
Growth coordinates operations — five branches, 100 staff, budgets, expense approvals and advanced scheduled reports. Pro governs complexity — 20 branches, 500 staff, branch-scoped and custom roles, bank reconciliation, comprehensive reports, analytics dashboards and self-service exports. Several Pro capabilities are still being built; the comparison table marks each one.
How many staff users and branches are included?
Starter includes 1 branch and up to 20 staff users, Growth includes 5 branches and 100 staff users, and Pro includes 20 branches and 500 staff users. Enterprise limits are set by contract. Only staff who sign in to the admin app count — member portal accounts are unlimited on every plan.
What does annual billing cost?
Growth is $240 per year and Pro is $590 per year, which is roughly two months free compared with paying monthly.
Are SMS and WhatsApp charges included?
No, and they are not live yet. You can compose, segment and schedule messages today, with per-channel consent recorded — but ChurchHub does not yet hand them to an SMS or WhatsApp provider. When it does, Growth and Pro unlock the channels and provider usage is billed separately based on what you actually send.
Can we use finance on the free plan?
Yes. Starter includes income, expenses, giving, standard reports and the audit log for everyday church administration.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Churches can start on Starter and move up as operations grow. Downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
What happens to our price if you raise prices?
Existing subscriptions stay on the price they signed up on. New pricing applies to new customers, and we will not move you without telling you first.
Can you migrate our current records?
Migration is a service we perform rather than a self-serve import, included with Enterprise and available as an optional service on Pro depending on the scope of your existing data. A self-serve member importer is on the roadmap.
Do you support denominations and multi-site churches?
Yes. Pro covers established multi-site churches, and Enterprise is designed for denominations, national networks, NGOs and large institutions that need custom structure, integrations and service levels.
Can we host ChurchHub ourselves?
Self-hosting is an Enterprise arrangement. It is a licence and implementation fee plus an annual maintenance and update agreement — updates and security support require an active agreement, and major-version upgrades may be priced separately.
Are backups included?
Your data sits in a managed Postgres database with the provider's own durability guarantees, and archived records stay recoverable in ChurchHub rather than being deleted. Scheduled off-site backups with a published restore target are being set up before general availability; Enterprise agreements can specify retention and recovery terms directly.
